Energy Control Systems Management
Current responsibilities include the planning, coordination and development of various work products for the Energy Control Systems Management Products in Peru and Bolivia. These include the Hardware, Software and telecommunication for the Real Time Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Distributions Management Systems (DMS). Also my responsibilities include the consultants and design of telecommunication networks in voice, data and video
I joined to SOLTEC as Director of a Valued Add Reseller (VAR) Company of GE-Harris in August 1996. Previously, I worked in the Peruvian Navy as an officer in the Telecommunication and Information System Department, in parallel I worked for the University of Lima as a research engineer and professor in Data Communication and Telecommunication Networks. I worked as a Leader Project for the University in several technology areas, including computer engineering, control systems, software products, ATM Networks and real time software acquisition systems. My experience includes senior management within Navy in Wide Area Networks (WAN), Engineering Centers, responsible for software of Command, Control, Communication and Intelligent systems. As Director of SOLTEC, I designed, installed and commissioning of the Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition System to manage the electrical grids of EDELNOR and EDEGEL. Also, under my supervision was implementing the first full Integrate Substation Automation System in the Electrical Substation SET Industrial of EDELNOR. Recently, I designed the Wireless Local Loop Network for the Peruvian National Police, included communications in voice, data and video for 125 police departments over Lima City.
